The SpaceAcademy@DK workshop for Univeristy Professors and Teachers will be held at DTU in Lyngby on September 6th.
The workshop is organized by SpaceAcademy@DK – www.danishspaceacademy.dk in collaboration with DTU SPACE.
SpaceAcademy@DK will take advantage of the fascination power of SPACE to attract more students to STEM related fields, and we work to ensure that young people with the right skills to exploit the potential of the ever-increasing amount of activities and data from space are educated.
There are already many teaching resources out there that can be applied, and the purpose of meeting is to focus on what currently exists, how the material can be integrated in teaching across disciplins – also in areas new to SPACE and SPACE applications – and in addition to exchange experiences among university professors and educators at universites in Denmark.
We have invited ESA and ESA Academy together with the Copernicus Academy to present their ongoing activities and resource base to us, and among workshop participants both experienced and potential space useer can be found.
Come join us for an inspiring day!
