WORKSHOP: SPACE in University Teaching

WHEN: 6th September 2018, 9:00-16:00

VENUE: DTU, Anker Engelundsvej 101A, Kgs. Lyngby. Meeting room M-2

REGISTRATION: By September 1, via e-mail to info@danishspaceacademy.dk

The aim of the workshop is to put focus on SPACE in teaching at university level in Denmark, on the one hand to ensure that our candidates are educated so the potential in space data and space research can be fully utilized, and, on the other hand, to increase recruitment to STEM programs by using the fascination power of Space.

A good starting point is to meet and explore what educational resources already exist in ESA and across universities and Departments in Denmark. At the workshop we will exchange experiences, get new inspiration, and discuss how we can take advantage of the various activities, and how we can move forward to advance the field.  ESA Academy and ESA Educational Office will present their activities at the workshop and examples of ongoing educational activities from a number of Danish Universities will given.

The workshop aims at university professors and lecturers and other interested parties from different disciplines and universities in Denmark, both experienced and potential new “SPACE users”.
